I am receiving a huge amount of contact today about expected financial support for being in partial lockdown and the Triage phase of ERF 3.

It appears that I need to clarify to everyone what is happening;

1. The Economic Resilience Fund Phase 3 went live for PRE-Go-Live

application Triage yesterday on 6th October. The purpose of this is for you to check to see whether your business; and any project that you may have in the pipeline to develop your business ready for the end of the Pandemic; qualifies for the Economic resilience Fund grant. This IS NOT the actual application for these funds, the opening date for which is 26th October 2020. The projects which the Welsh Government wish to see would be ones that guarantee jobs through the pandemic and will put your business in a stronger position to survive Brexit and the Pandemic and be pushing forward to greater things after. This may not be the right grant for you to apply for but you need to read all of the hyperlinks on the Welsh government site before you decide. Today is NOT the application day either. When applications are opened, there is a 100% discretionary facility for the Hospitality Industry so attempting to complete the process now may result in you being rejected, but completing an actual application on 26th October may result in you being awarded the funds. This grant may NOT BE USED to pay off existing debt.

2. The Grant to support businesses affected by Partial Lockdown in ones' county is classified as being part of the Economic Resilience Fund of packages to support the economy through the Pandemic, but is totally separate from the process stated above. There is currently NO opportunity to submit an application for this grant as Conwy has NOT been under restricted regulations for 3 weeks, so you won't find anywhere to apply for this grant yet. Further details will be available as soon as the County qualifies.
