Help needed

I want to increase our evidence for the case for immediate support with Welsh Government by showing the real impact of the 10pm-10-20pm shutdown and lockdowns.

What it would be helpful to have from colleagues – ideally by close of Play Monday - the following:

• Sales data for this week compared to last week – ideally Monday to Monday – anything to show that the announcement of the measures saw an immediate hit on trade

• For hotels particularly, weekly change in cancellations since Monday – identified for hotels as rooms/F&B/C&B if possible

• For hotels weekly change in forward booking volumes since Monday – so have we seen volumes of forward bookings fall off compared to last year

• Business on books for October and in particular booked accomodation for the last two weeks which have been reportedly mooted for a possible half term "circuit breaker" lockdown.

 I am pushing hard for measures to obtain financial assistance and will be seeking news on this for you I hope for end of next week at the latest.
