Message from the Chairman

The government has announced and the Welsh Assembly has confirmed, that there will be financial support for businesses who are affected by the coronavirus crisis, especially all of us in hospitality businesses. 

We hope that the banks will be in a position to start administering this support from Monday 23rd March 2020. Dates aside, whenever it is that they are ready to support us all, they will require clear and factual information from each business all before agreeing to provide any financial aid. 

As some of you are aware, the LHA are working very closely with our MP Robin to ensure that any information we provide is accurate and up to date. 

Therefore, to assist you with obtaining this support we recommend that all hospitality and tourism businesses generate a forecast cashflow forecast for their business. To help anyone who does not have such a document and may not be familiar with these documents, we are providing a “free to use” spreadsheet for you as well as a “how to use it” guide.

We cannot stress enough how important it will be for you to be prepared to provide factual evidencable information to support any funds being distributed following the Governments announcements.
