Covid-19 Reopening News

Dear Member,
Today we expect to receive 3 weeks notice for the reopening of Hotels, Guesthouses and Self Catering properties from the First Minister, along with the reopening of some visitor attractions. We also expect Pubs, Cafes and Restaurants to receive 5 weeks notice of reopening.
To help Businesses to prepare for the reopening there is a document containing all the advice needed and Risk Assessments which you will need to complete prior to opening, on the LHA website under the heading Covid-19 News following this link https://www.llandudnoha.co.uk/risk-assessment-guidance.
These are the Government approved process for our industry to reopen and ensure that we are ‘Good To Go’. As we expect that members will have some questions relating to the content of this document, we have put together a support team specifically for each sector of our industry which you will find under the heading Covid-19 News on the website. Please email these as your first point of contact outlining your query and they will get back to you with the answer as quickly as possible.
This is a Risk Assessment based process similar to other processes which you will have in place in your business for Health and Safety and Fire regulations. Once you have completed the process you can submit to the AA Covid-19 confidence accreditation scheme ( free of charge) to obtain a badge for your website to support customer confidence. https://www.ratedtrips.com/aa-covid-confident
To combat the negativity of the current situation we suggest that everyone uses the Strapline #Good To Go on social media to promote the positive aspect of your businesses preparations and we will be using the strapline #Llandudno Good To Go.
Good Luck,
Berin Jones
Chairman
