Puposed Mc Carthy Stone development

A lot of residents have been concerned by McCarthy Stone's proposals to build 55 residential apartments on the Maelgwyn Road Car Park. I understand that Conwy County Borough Council currently lease the car park, the lease is due to come to an end next year and the land owner has indicated that they would like the council to vacate the land to make way for the development. The council's Environment, Roads and Facilities department is planning on resisting these efforts to safeguard the car park's future.
