Tourism Innovation Grant
A new fund of money to help support hospitality businesses through the winter

Financial Support for All Llandudno Hospitality Businesses this Winter
Dear Member,
We would like to bring to your attention a new grant designed to help
us through the quiet winter months and allow us to realise any new
projects which we are planning. An £850,000 Community Renewal Fund has
been won and will be invested this winter in skills, innovation projects
and local knowledge. We have the opportunity to apply for a grant from
this fund to cover the wages of a member of staff recruited early or to
retain an existing member of staff to carry out an innovative project or
to trial a new product with the help of pop-up premises provided by
Mostyn Estate. We can also apply for a grant to cover the time taken for
our staff to complete the Conwy Ambassador virtual programme with the
aim of improving the local knowledge of our Front of House staff. This
last grant (the Ambassador programme grant) will be available in the
next couple of weeks but the guidance notes and application for the wage
subsidy grant is attached.
Following recent consultation with the LHA there has been a relaxation
of the qualification criteria and several changes to the application
form since it was first sent out last month so please do have another
look if it didn’t seem to be for you on last look.
We strongly urge all members to consider applying for this grant as
they are looking to receive applications from, and give assistance to,
as many businesses as possible.
Any questions please do contact Gary Jones at jones37g@gllm.ac.uk.
