NEWSFLASH
Lockdown Discretionary Grant
Following review of initial round of applications we have been able to
release sufficient funds to re-open the Lockdown Discretionary Grant.
This grant is for those people who are NOT eligible to apply to the
Lockdown Non Domestic Rate Grant.
PLEASE NOTE BUSINESSES ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR BOTH GRANT SCHEMES.
We have limited funds available from our Welsh Government allocation.
Applications will be dealt with on a first come first served basis.
This may lead to applications not being appraised after they have been
submitted if the fund is fully committed.
The grant will be re-open to applications from 11.30am on 16th November
2020 and will close at 5pm on 20 November 2020 OR when the fund is fully
committed.
PLEASE DO NOT RE APPLY IF YOU SUBMITTED AN APPLICATION IN ROUND ONE.
ALL APPLICATIONS FROM THE 1ST ROUND ARE CURRENTLY BEING DEALT WITH AND
YOU WILL CONTACTED IN DUE COURSE.
You are not eligible for this grant if:
· You are eligible for, or have received, the Lockdown Non-Domestic
Rate Grant from your Local Authority
· You have 50 or more employees
· If the business generates less than 50% of your income. The business
must be your main source of income.

Please note:-
*If you have a business premises with a rateable value of under £12K
and are registered for business rates (even if you are in receipt of
small business rates relief)
OR
If you have a business in the retail, leisure and hospitality sector
with a rateable value between £12,001 and £51K
You should apply for the Lockdown Non Domestic Rate Grant.
